discovery
I discovered Yoga in 2005, when I was in my early twenties and a university student. After my very first class, I was completely hooked—something about the practice just felt right, nourishing me on so many levels.
Within only a few weeks, I began noticing real changes. I felt stronger, more agile, my mind was clearer, and my ability to concentrate during lectures improved dramatically.
Yoga awakened a deep curiosity in me. The practical techniques, the philosophy, the teachings, the teachers, and the community of practitioners have continued to offer an endless well of support and inspiration.
Nearly twenty years later, this practice has shaped me into who I am today. Yoga has helped me grow stronger, more flexible, more compassionate, more mindful—and has given me a profound sense of agency and energy in my life.
Training & Education
2011 - Received my 200-hour certification at The Laughing Lotus Yoga School in San Francisco.
2014 - Completed advanced studies at Yoga Tree SF and earned my 500-hour certification with a specialization in Yoga Therapeutics.
2015 - Studied Restorative Yoga with Judith Hanson Lasater and received my Relax and Renew® certification.
2022 - Graduated from Sadhana Studies, a two-year deep study program at Adeline Yoga. A training that provided the foundation and mentorship I needed to transition my teaching from Vinyasa and Hatha Yoga to the Iyengar Yoga method.
2023 - Became a Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher (CIYT, Level 1).
Currently - I continue my studies through ongoing professional development intensives at Adeline Yoga, guided by my mentor Heather Haxo Phillips. This consistent, dedicated work is slowly but surely preparing me to pursue my Level 2 Iyengar Yoga certification.
The path of my practice is one of continuous studentship, a deep curiosity for knowing myself, a commitment to being of service to others, and endless exploration and curiosity!
Mission
I believe that through the power of Yoga anyone can realize their potential as a brilliant, powerful and loving being. And at the same time, it is clear to me that yoga’s not for everyone.
My mission in teaching yoga is to share my findings with fellow seekers. So that we all can tap into the best versions of ourselves. I am here to support, invigorate and inspire whoever is up for this wild journey.
It is my passion and my pleasure to connect and spend time on the mat with those who are open, curious and hopeful. Life isn’t always easy, but we don’t have to go through it alone. We’ve got this, we’ve got each other.
WHAT I teach
IYENGAR YOGA - Iyengar Yoga is an accessible and transformative practice, known for its clear methodology, precision, timing, and intelligent use of props and pose modifications—many of which were designed by B.K.S. It is also a remarkably adaptable system of practice: it can be deeply therapeutic and restorative or vigorous, athletic, and energizing. Iyengar Yoga can evolve with you day by day, season by season, through sickness and health—it is a true lifelong companion. Read more about it here.
